Who's the painter of this carnation?


(sorry Agnes, I think this one's tough as well, specially because the style is likely to be misleading. That is why I find it so fascinating!)

    I don't even dare to guess. And it's already may. :D :D
    So you mean it's earlier than it seems?
    Well, I can see it's painted in several layers, so it can't be impressionist.
    I actually randomly googled Velazquez, Goya and Rembrandt, but couldn't find anything similar. :P I'm helpless.

    I'm curious about the answer. :)

    mMM. great guess about not being impressionist, you are right to check at earlier dates!
    I'm fine , and on holidays at this moment. I'll post again in about a couple of weeks and hope to keep it up a bit more regularly over the summer.
