Did you know...?

...that the words "text" and "textile" are family?

 Why?
Because they both derive from the latin word "textus", that meant "thing woven",

(textus being the past participle stem of texere which meant "to weave, to join, fit together, braid, interweave, construct, fabricate, build,")

Can you think of ways in which a text is "woven"?

Yep, yet another joy thanks to the Online Etymology Dictionary
