Virtual Art Museum
What a good idea!
Paco Arenas, an art teacher from Avilés, a small town in northern Spain, has created a virtual web museum showcasing the work of his pupils since he first started teaching art in 1971. I find so many of these works so interesting and fun to see! He has classified them by courses, techniques and themes according to the lessons taught in class. I'm showing just a few examples.(Thanks Paco)

It's just that I watched "Good night and good luck" yesterday. What an excellent film directed by my wishlist person. It makes you think that there are still so many values to be held, causes to be defended, and stands to be taken...today and everyday whatever it takes. And as someone once said, you can do it just by putting one word after another. The magical words.

After this painting was sold by Christie's last Monday in London for 1,7 million € (highest price paid in the market for the work of a Spanish living painter) Mr. López said to the press (right after "Just one moment, my hands are dirty"):
