Read it now
"This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire, but it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires and lights in a box"
No, this was not said by Bill Gates about the internet. It was said by journalist Edward R. Murrow on October 15, 1958 about television.

It's just that I watched "Good night and good luck" yesterday. What an excellent film directed by my wishlist person. It makes you think that there are still so many values to be held, causes to be defended, and stands to be taken...today and everyday whatever it takes. And as someone once said, you can do it just by putting one word after another. The magical words.

Favourite film
Not so long ago I went to the cinema to watch Caramel. The atmosphere of this film is that of Almodóvar meets Middle East. When the film was finished something happened that hadn't happened to me in quite a while. I remained stuck to the chair and just didn't want to leave. I would have liked to remain forever in that ochre and honey coloured world. A world where there are problems and worries and troubles but also friendship and laughter and delight in beauty.
